What Coins We Buy

Gold bullion coins

Gold & Silver Bullion

Eagles, Krugerrands, Maple Leafs, bars and rounds. Bullion prices quickly off weight, purity and the live spot price, so these are usually the fastest part of any evaluation.

US silver coins

US Silver & Collectible Coins

Morgan and Peace dollars, Mercury dimes, Walking Liberty halves, pre-1965 junk silver. We check dates and mint marks against key-date lists rather than weighing the lot as scrap.

Assorted coin collection

Collections & Currency

Inherited albums, dealer stock, loose jars, old paper currency. Bring it however it is stored — sorting is our job, not yours.

How Selling Coins Works Here

  1. Bring the collection in

Albums, folders, jars or boxes — as-is is fine. Bring a valid government photo ID. Do not clean anything first; cleaning a collectible coin can destroy much of its value.

  2. We sort bullion from collectible

Common-date silver is valued off melt. Everything else gets checked for date, mint mark and condition, because a key date can be worth many times its silver content.

  3. We walk you through what you have

You see which coins are collectible and which are bullion, and what each is worth. If something is a genuine rarity, we tell you — including when you might do better elsewhere.

  4. Sell what you want to sell

Take the offer on part or all of the collection and get paid the same day. Keep whatever you would rather hold on to.

Inherited a collection and unsure what is in it?

Why Bring Your Coins to Us

  • We identify key dates and varieties instead of weighing a collection as bulk silver — the difference on a single coin can run into hundreds of dollars.
  • Collections are itemised, so you can sell the bullion and keep the pieces with sentimental value.
  • We publish our own coin collector guides, including key-date references for Morgans, Peace dollars and Mercury dimes. We are happy to explain what you own even if you do not sell.
  • Bullion is priced off live spot, shown to you on screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to evaluate a collection?
A handful of coins takes 10–15 minutes. A full album or an inherited estate collection may take an hour or more — you can wait, or leave it with us and return the same day.
Do I need an appointment to sell coins?
Walk-ins are welcome for small lots. For a full collection, scheduling a free evaluation is worth doing so we can set aside proper time to go through it with you.
Should I clean my coins before bringing them in?
No — please do not. Cleaning is one of the fastest ways to destroy a collectible coin's value. Bring it exactly as you found it, tarnish and all.
What do I need to bring?
The coins and a valid government photo ID. Any inventory list or paperwork from a prior appraisal is helpful but not necessary.
Do you buy the whole collection or only the good pieces?
Either. We will make an offer on the whole lot or itemise it so you can sell selectively — whichever you prefer.
Do you pay the same day for coins?
Yes. Once you accept an offer, you are paid before you leave the store.
